Alexis Monnier is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT #90681) who specializes in couples counseling and is based out of San Francisco, California. Celebrating success with many couples, Alexis dedicates her career to helping couples navigate inevitable challenges of being in relationship.
Alexis received her Masters Degree in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Alexis ascribes to the approaches developed by top couples researchers, including the works of John Gottman, Susan Johnson, Ellen Bader, Stan Tatkin, Harvall Hendrix & Helen LaKelly Hunt, Rob Fisher and more. She believes in a mindful eclectic approach, one tailored specifically for the individual or couple to create change.

It is equally important to help couples learn and experience ways to respond to issues that will enhance closeness. She attends several trainings a year to be current with the latest approaches and research.
